Growing up, I internalized beliefs around having to achieve certain goals or owning certain things in order to "be someone", to have "achieved something".
In a world in which we constantly feel urged us to find external validation, achieve material success, and fulfill societal expectations, discovering inner wholeness becomes a profound act of peaceful rebellion.
In the middle of the relentless pursuit of external accomplishments, embracing and nurturing our inner selves challenges the status quo. It defies the societal narrative that measures worth based on outward achievements and possessions.
So, finding inner wholeness seems a little like a peaceful rebellion against the notion that fulfillment only comes from external sources. It is a courageous choice to prioritize self-discovery, self-acceptance, and inner peace over the external pressures that often leave us deeply unsatisfied.
In this peaceful rebellion, you reclaim your autonomy, recognizing that true contentment stems from within rather than conforming to external standards.
In my personal experience, it can be challenging to embody this practice as it is so opposite to the conditionings that were present for so many years, and due to the continuous exposure on the outside of this old truth. Therefore, it's so crucial to implement rituals or remembering and reconnecting, that allow you to soften into the knowing of being whole within, already here and now, without any conditions attached.
