1. Journaling Prompts

Journaling has become one of my favorite tools for finding mental clarity, becoming aware of the stories in my mind, reflecting on my growth, and internalizing how far I have come.

While sometimes there is so much happening on the inside or outside that I can easily fill pages within a couple of minutes, I also enjoy prompts that inspire intuitive writing.

Here, you will find some journaling prompts for different situations or emotions. Make yourself a cup of tea or cacao, grab your colorful pens, get comfy, and start writing without overthinking, analyzing, or criticizing too much about what comes through.

JOURNALING FOR BIG DREAMS 1.) If you were already enough right now, as the version you are here and now - what would this open? What would change? What would you feel inside? 2.) If the universe didn't exist outside of you but within you, how would you engage with your life force and thoughts differently? What would become possible if you did?  3.) Imagine you are your Higher Self. What does it feel like? What do you do, how do you speak, what do you dress like, how do you interact with the world?

JOURNALING FOR ANXIETY 1.) Where does anxiety show up in your body? How does it make you physically feel right now or in general? Now when paying attention to it, does it change its physical form or location inside your body?  2.) Which thoughts are going through your head right now? Make a list of all of them, and read through them. For each of the thoughts, ask yourself "Is it true?" and "Does it have to be true?" 3.) Write a goodbye letter to your anxiety. What do you want it to know before it leaves? Potentially there is some anger or frustration arising, that you want to share with your anxiety. And maybe you also want to thank it, as it has tried to protect you from something. 4.) Imagine a day without anxiety. What would it feel and look like? What would you do?

2. Music for the heart and soul

Music, sound, frequencies have accompanied on my journey out of the head and into the heart.

They can touch our souls deeply, evoke emotions and hence support us in releasing them. Slower sound and certain frequencies can support us achieving states of deep relaxation. And the vibrations can enhance our mind-body connection and oftentimes support in releasing stuck energy and promoting harmony and balance within our systems.

Dive into the music that calls your for this moment right now. Let yourself sink deeply into the frequencies, alllow the sound to hold you.

Surrender in Piano - For warm, soft baths, allowing yourself to let the water hold you while deeply sinking into the melodies

Calm Meditation - get comfortable on your pillow, roll your shoulders back, straighten your back, soften your face and dive into some meditative moments.

You are the universe - Remember: it is all inside you. you are the creatrice 🦋

Hija de la selva - Reconnect with your roots, daughter of the jungle.

3. Mandalas for Mindful Coloring

Mindfulness is the art of doing one thing at a time, being fully present with what is right now.

Our minds in this modern, fast-paced world oftentimes think about something completely different than what we are doing right now. While we take a shower, we already think about breakfast. While we eat, we think about the traffic to work or school. While we commute, we think about the tasks at work ahead. While we work, we think about coming home at night. And while we are on vacation, we think about all that is waiting for us back at home.

Mindfulness, fully arriving in the Now, is a life-long practice. It is a muscle that we can train in order to ctach ourselves more easily when we get caught up in something else than what we are actually doing in this moment right now.

Coloring is a nice way to bring your mind and body together in the Now. It can support during moment of anxiety and worries. It calms the mind and your nervous system.

Below, you find some mandalas. Brew yourself a cup of tea or prepare a mug of cacao, get comfy, turn of soothing background music and get lost in bringing colors on your sheet of paper.
